About the Team

We are a private club made up of mostly home school students. All are interested in STEM and have developed in STEM as well as inter personal skills. We have students from all grade levels on one team, we are not divided up by grade level.

About this Season

Team members participate in a career fair for 5th grade students from all the local schools, it is run by the rotary club and the team explains STEM career field and engineering career fields. They also helped in an international exchange with China students thru a local sponsor, the Create Foundation. Finally they helped with a girls club by demonstrating the robot and different aspects of what they do with the robotic team. The club also hosts a large local event and travels to smaller areas in the state and helps the upstart teams and local schools and volunteers put on VEX tournaments. We normally come in the day before, help set up, provide key volunteers, and help run the events in an effort to train them for the future.

Tweedt Engineering and Construction is a local land developer & structural engineering firm that hosts our meetings and provides facilities for the team to meet and work. Also provides mentor-ship to the students.
