About the Team

3249U Ultraviolet. Made up of members from 3249U and 3249V (formerly 3249F). Last years Worlds Division Sportsmanship Award Winner. Inventors of the innovative banana capacity metric. A group of 5 awesome seniors who decided to cause themselves anguish by building a 360 degree turret. We all worked on designing, building, and our notebook. Clark: 6 years experience. Back-up driver, lead intake/roller system engineer. Joseph: 6 years experience. Driver for the chassis, lead indexer/turntable engineer. Jonah: 4 years experience. Coder. Logan: 4 years experience. Driver for the turret, lead chassis engineer. Yuri: Rookie. Lead expansion engineer.

About this Season

Decided to design a turret for Spin UP. Qualified for State at Oregon's first competition with the Design Award. Received another Design Award as well as a Sportsmanship Award. Went to only 3 tournaments due to school size and snowed out tournaments. School district didn't let us go to State due to snow, so we made a reveal video (bit.ly/3249U_Robot), published our notebook publicly, and put ourselves on the waitlist. Got chosen off of the Worlds waitlist out of 500 teams and are so grateful to get to show what all we have accomplished as a team at worlds!
