About the Team

We are The Dewey's Sparks, a team of eight enthusiastic Middle School students (Grades 7–8) from The Dewey Schools, united by our shared passion for robotics, technology, and problem-solving. Our team consists of Nguyễn Bá Nam Anh, Nguyễn Huy Lân, Chan Pak Hoi Bách Khải, Nguyễn Quang Khánh Hưng, Trần Mai Khuê, Dương Gia Hân, Nguyễn Sinh Phú, and Đặng Nguyễn Minh Thiện. Although we are younger and still building our foundation in VEX, our team brings high energy, fresh perspectives, and an eagerness to learn. Each member actively contributes across design, building, programming, driving, and team documentation. For us, VEX is an exciting journey to explore STEM, turn creative ideas into real mechanisms, and grow together as future engineers. Our slogan: Spark the Idea, Drive the Future.

About this Season

For the 2026–2027 VEX V5 Override game, our main objective is to design and build an agile, accurate, and easy-to-drive robot capable of efficiently scoring Pins and Cups, controlling Toggles, and competing for the Midfield. As The Dewey's Sparks, we focus on mastering the core engineering design process: testing ideas, learning quickly from mistakes, and continuously refining our mechanism throughout the season.
