About the Team

A team has six members with three 8th and two 7th graders and all have less than a year of experience. All are responsible for the building, the notebook, and programming. The members spend one and a half hours after school each day and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. designing, building, and testing the robot and recording the progress in the notebook

About this Season

The team began building robots in early September and has not attended a meet and is comprised of three 8th graders and twp seventh graders. The team has also begun planning the game strategy.

About Team Sponsor

The sponsor is a PLTW instructor who teaches four classes of Design and Modeling, one class of Robotics, and one class of Computer Science for the 7th and 8th grades. He volunteers his time and receives no compensation for the after-school or Saturday sessions.
