About the Team

The GPS Robotics Club at Kirkland Ranch Academy of Innovation is a student-run organization committed to exploring robotics and advancing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education. Our mission is to design, build, and program innovative robots for competition, while fostering leadership, teamwork, and creativity among our members. As a student-led club, every role is essential to our success. Our leadership team includes a Build Lead, Team Lead, and Coding Lead who manage the technical development of our robots. We also have dedicated Presidents and Vice Presidents for both our FIRST Robotics and VEX Robotics teams, as well as a Secretary and Treasurer who handle the club’s operations, communications, and finances. This structure ensures that every aspect of the club is run smoothly, efficiently, and with a focus on success. GPS Robotics is not just about competitions—our club is also dedicated to community outreach. We host events and workshops to introduce younger students, especially at Kirkland Ranch K-8, to the exciting world of robotics. Our goal is to inspire future engineers and innovators by providing hands-on learning experiences. Additionally, our club is actively involved in social media outreach, where we share our journey, achievements, and upcoming events with the community, building excitement and interest in STEM. With strong leadership, a passion for innovation, and a commitment to community and social engagement, GPS Robotics is paving the way for the future—one robot at a time!
