About the Team

We are a passionate and determined robotics team, composed of hardworking young men and women who share a strong interest in engineering and computer science. Though our team members are still young and inexperienced, with only one year of experience our journey has been one of perseverance and growth. Our first year competing was filled with challenges and failures, but we never gave up. Instead, we used those experiences to push ourselves further. This past summer, we dedicated countless hours to building and refining our robot, meeting every day to prepare for the season ahead. Each member of our team has a unique role based on their strengths: Ray, our senior mentor, led the development of autonomous coding and autonomous skills, with Anthony assisting in the process. Yewon took charge of building the robot and fine-tuning its mechanisms when things didn’t go as planned. Yewon is also our driver. Robbie managed all aspects of pneumatics. Aleks, our historian, was responsible for maintaining our team notebook. Our coach Dr. Valencia never allowed us to gave up even after we kept losing. She always said "great job, let's improve....remember this too is a learning experience" While we each had specific responsibilities, collaboration was at the heart of our success. We supported each other through setbacks, celebrated milestones, and constantly learned from our mistakes. Our team’s bond and resilience have shaped us into better engineers, programmers, and problem-solvers. We are truly grateful for the opportunity to grow together, and we look forward to continuing our journey in robotics.
