Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. is an international, historically African-American fraternity, founded on November 17, 1911 in the science building (Thirkield Hall) on the campus of Howard University in Washington, D.C., by three undergraduate students (i.e., Edgar Amos Love, Oscar Jonathan Cooper, and Frank Coleman) and a faculty adviser from the science department, Dr. Ernest Everett Just.
