About the Team

We are 15294A, the Red Eaglebots team from Woodview Elementary. We are from a small Amish town in Indiana called Nappanee. We all agree that robotics has changed our lives. We did a summer camp in July, started practicing in October, have gone to 4 tournaments, and have won 9 awards. Our team consists of 6 girls (Peyton, Shelby, Kelsey, Ella, Jillian, and Avery) and 3 boys (Keaton, Eric, and Elijah). We are all in 4th or 5th grade and absolutely love robotics practices and competitions.

About this Season

After a summer camp in July, our team had our first competition in November after we started the official season. It was hectic getting prepared, but we have won several awards (3 Teamwork Champion Awards, 3 Skills Champion Awards, 2 Excellence Awards, and 1 Design award) from the last 4 regional competitions combined. We are currently ranked 12th in Indiana. Our program has won 8 straight State Excellence Awards. We're excited for the State Championship!!
