About the Team

We have nine 4th and 5th grade students on our team. We realize that that's a lot of students for one team, but all of us have our own specific role to help the team succeed. We come from Nappanee, Indiana and attend Woodview Elementary. All of us were split up into smaller sub-teams so that our team could run as efficiently as possible. Zach and Finley are part of the Build and Design Team #1 and are our Drivers. Elsie and Adalyn are part of the Build and Design Team #2. Avery and Makaya make up our Build and Design Team #3. And Jenna, Alex, and Briella are the Documentation Team, and are in charge of making sure our Engineering Notebook is creative and up-to-date. We absolutely love being 15294B (Eaglebots Blue)!

About this Season

After a summer camp in July, our team had our first competition in November after we started the official season. It was hectic getting prepared, but we have won several awards (2 Teamwork Champion Awards, 1 Excellence Award, 1 Design Award, and 1 Judges Award) from the last 4 regional competitions combined. We are currently ranked 14th in Indiana out of 1,079 teams! At the Indiana State Championship last year, we finished in the top 10 in qualifying, top 10 in Skills, and WON THE STATE EXCELLENCE AWARD!!!!
