About this Season

This team started VEX as a Girl Powered last year 2023-2024 as a rookie and inspired through their tenacity and dedication to robotics. After a lots of ups and down during the season, they had a very successful and rewarding experience in 2023-2024 season 17788-A received the following awards during the 2023- 2024 season: VEX IQ World Championship Inspire Award, recognizing outstanding leadership and innovation Northern California Regional (States) Championship Energy Award, for exceptional enthusiasm and passion Amaze Award, for a high-performing robot in matches and skills challenges Regional Competitions: Excellence Award - Norcal Rookie Competition, overall excellence in all aspects Teamwork Champion - Norcal Rookie Competition, as part of the winning alliance Design Award - East Palo Alto, organized and professional design process Amaze Award - Dublin
