About the Team

Our team is made up of fourth and fifth grade students and one coach from Bellevue Elementary . All of our team members are completely new to VEX IQ robotics. Our team loves to learn about robotics, have fun and get incredibly silly. After the season, our team will do a presentation for other students in our school to get them interested in robotics. We are excited to try out a competition!

About this Season

It has been a fun, fast, and furious season! We were unable to start our team until November. So we hav because we didn't have funding. We are working really hard and are planning to double our 1x per week meeting times to try to catch up. We are hoping to have a finished bot before our first scrimmage next week! We will be adding modifications after the scrimmage. Then we will focus on refining our design and practicing driving and testing our strategy and autonomous program. Our notebook journalists have been taking notes and photos to document our engineering of the robot.

About Team Sponsor

We don't have an actual sponsor. But we have written many grants to various organizations who have helped us to pay for our robotic equipment and tournament fees. Those organizations are: Bellevue Elementary PTA, and the Blaine County Papoose Club.
