About the Team

We are Soaring Dragon, a young team impassioned for VEX design, coding, collaboration and competitions. Our team consists of 4 members aged 11-12 years old: Ethan, Lillian, Eric, and Alan, with our coach Xiumei Wu. We are highly motivated, hardworking, intelligent, and enthusiastic in robotics. We gather together to grow our skillsets, think outside of the box, and solve real-world problems. It is our second year attending VEX IQ competition. We are so proud of our first-year experience, being ranked at Top 2 among elementary teams in Arizona and followed our dream all the way to 2024 World Championships in Dallas. Now it is the time for us to step forward in another thrilling year. Let's go and fly high, Team Soaring Dragon!

About this Season

The new season is coming, and our team is getting ready for the excitement. We can’t wait to meet new friends and start the rapid relay match. It will be a lot of fun to stand on the field side by side, pass the ball, clear many switches as we can, score and win together! We keep improving our robotic skills, optimize design, practice driving and adjust coding day by day. Our little dragon is geared up for the big sky!
