About the Team

Go Patriots! My name is Anna Slade. I am 13 years old, and I am in 7th grade. I love doing Vex Robotics, I am on team 77431B, this is my second year doing robotics, and I really like it. I go to pike Road Junior High School, and robotics is an elective in school, so we get to have it every day. I enjoy building and driving, and these are my positions on the team. I am also the main notebooker. My last team was 67558B, and we qualified for States and Worlds. We won: Three design awards One judges award One Excellence award One Create award from States Robotics has helped me with many things such as problem solving, collaborating, critical thinking, time management, and has helped me make new friends. Last year, my team name was The Butterfingers, and that was because we dropped the remote a lot when we were practicing, and even once at a tournament! Fun facts: I love to cook, build, do contortion, and I have double jointed shoulders and thumbs. I’m so glad I got the opportunity to compete with this team this year. Go Patriots! My name is Dharti Patel and I am SOOO excited that I get to compete in VEX IQ robotics this year. A little bit about me, I am 12 years old and I am in the 7th grade at Pike Road Junior High School.This year I am a builder,documenter, and programmer. This is my second year competing in VEX IQ robotics. Last year I was a builder on the team Butterfingers, and we won the following awards. - 3 Design - 1 Judges - 1 Excellence/State Qualified - 1 Create/Worlds Qualified Being in robotics for the last two years has taught me a lot. I’ve produced some great listening skills by listening to my team members ideas. I’ve also produced some great communication skills as I have had to talk to my peers and also judges and referees. FUN FACT: I can recite 100 digits of PI straight from my mind and won the PI challenge in my school twice in a row. Let's Go, hey my name is Grady Coppock just wanted to tell you a few things about me. One thing that I have to tell you is that I’m in 7th grade at pike road junior high this year and another thing is that I’m 12 years old and I have been doing Robotics with pike road for 3 years now and I love it. On my old team 67558D team turtle I was a driver/builder. This year is different but I like so far I’m guessing that I’m going to be a driver/ Builder again I don’t mind those two roles are so much fun. Doing robotics has helped me with team building and helped me communicate with other people. Last year my team won excellence at state which It was very rewarding I was so happy, it was amazing. I’m so ready for another fun year of ROBOTICS. Also to all judges reading this your awesome.
